Fourth distinction, in five years of existence, for the magazine that travels with the five senses throughout Greece
GRtraveller, the award-winning travel magazine, which since 2019 has been travelling its readers to every corner of Greece with the five senses, won its fourth overall distinction, this time at this year’s Tourism Awards organised by Boussias.
Specifically, GRtraveller was awarded the bronze prize in the Travel Magazine category, from a number of entries from travel publications, websites and travel shows.
The award was received by Co-Founder and Head of Strategy & Creativity of the magazine, Ms Lilian Psyla at the award ceremony held on Monday 15 April 2024, at a central hotel in Athens.
This award is another rewarding the quality and innovation of the design and content of the magazine. From the first issue to the present, every year of publication of the GRtraveller is also a milestone, each time introducing innovations that combine modern digital applications with the unsurpassed charm of paper. Its minimalist design follows the storyline philosophy, giving the feeling of a story that unfolds in the eyes of the reader. A story that can be read and listened to through Spotify music lists and podcasts.
Since its early years, GRtraveller has won three awards (Gold – Best Overall Editorial Presence, Silver – Minimalist Design and Storyline, Design, Production, and Bronze – Best Editorial/Column: 5 Senses Destinations) in the Regional Media Awards competition, the awards for the most innovative Regional and Local Media organized by BOUSSIAS in 2021.
GRtraveller is not just another magazine that is just about travel. It is itself a sensory journey to the Greek destinations, uniting myth, history and tradition with their modern profile. It is the music and the sounds that “spring” from the paper, it is the different look, the texture and the colour that it gives to Greece, in order to highlight the thousands of unique experiences that it hides in every corner.
Above all, it is the interaction with his audience, the love with which he has surrounded the magazine, which fuels his engines to continue the journey, with enthusiasm and a desire for new experiences.
