With great pleasure and enthusiasm, the Hellenic Foundation for Historical Studies (IDISME) presents the music album (cd)<\/p>\n
“And the future for you”, with music by Andreas Anagnostopoulos and arrangements by George Papachristoudis on Wednesday, May 10 at 19:00 at the Athens Conservatory! <\/strong><\/h4>\nThe album is a testimony of the soul in honour of the great Constantinople poet Dimitris K. Papaconstantinou, whose Poetic Complete Works<\/em> were published in two volumes (A & B) by the Hellenic Foundation for Historical Studies in 2010. The proceeds from the event will be used to support the 8th<\/sup> <\/em>Beyond<\/em> Borders<\/em> | Castellorizo International Documentary Festival<\/em>.<\/p>\nDem. \u039a. Papakonstantinou was repeatedly awarded for his entire work by the Academy of Athens (twice for his poetry collections “Shiamachia I” and “Apekkydisi” and once for his overall contribution to education and the letters of the city). A skilled poet, an adept critic (he collaborated with important literary magazines such as “Vosporos”, “Pyrsos”, “Nea Estia”, “Efthini”, “Skesi”, etc.) and an enlightened teacher, he taught for twenty-two years in the schools of his beloved hometown -especially in Zappeion- and then in Athens, passing on his passion for letters and knowledge to new generations.<\/p>\n
The performers\/interpreters participate in the album: Kostas Vasiliagos<\/strong>, Salina Gavala<\/strong>, Vassilis Yisdakis<\/strong>, Fotini Darra<\/strong>, Filothei Morano<\/strong>, Dimitris Basis<\/strong>, Giannis Niarchos<\/strong>, Iro Saia<\/strong>, Morpho Tsaireli<\/strong> and Kostas Triantaphyllides<\/strong>.<\/p>\nLeonidas Kakouris<\/strong>, Stelios Mainas<\/strong>, Irini Sarioglou<\/strong> and Athena Hadjianasiou<\/strong> lend their voices to the dramatized recitation.<\/p>\nThe presentation will take place in the Ioannis Despotopoulos <\/em>Hall of the Athens Conservatory (17-19 Vas. Georgiou B\u0384 17-19, Athens) at 19:00, in the presence of the performers and guest artists.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
