The three days of screenings and activities of &#8220;Beyond Borders&#8221; will include:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8984 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/grtraveller.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/%CE%91%CF%86%CE%AF%CF%83%CE%B1-%CE%91%CE%B8%CE%AE%CE%BD%CE%B1%CF%82-%CF%87%CF%89%CF%81%CE%AF%CF%82-%CF%80%CF%81%CE%BF%CE%B3%CF%81%CE%B1%CE%BC%CE%BC%CE%B1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"1271\">Friday, January 27th:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>19:00, the 12-member music ensemble of ERT&#8217;s Contemporary Music Orchestra will perform live the original music of composer Giorgos Papachristoudis, for the latest production of IDISME &#8220;The Heroic Voulas of Asia Minor&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>19:30, the Secretary General of Hellenism Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yannis Chrysoulakis, will present the Special Award &#8220;Odysseus&#8221; to the director Vicky Markolefa for her film, &#8220;Spirit Native&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>19:45, &#8220;The Heroic Voulas of Asia Minor&#8221; by Irini Sarioglou (2022, 52&#8242;)<\/li>\n<li>20:30, &#8220;Railway Memories&#8221; (Bronze Phoenix micro) by Emilia Bouriti (2021, 8&#8242;)<\/li>\n<li>20:45, &#8220;Letters Without a Recipient&#8221; (produced by IDISME) by Ilias Demetriou ( 2012, 40&#8242;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, January 28:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;The Other Half&#8221; by Giorgos Moutafis (Best Greek Documentary Award)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;February<sup>1st<\/sup>&#8221; by Mo Mo &amp; Leila Macaire ( national premiere, Golden Phoenix micro)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I was there and they kissed me with a plate of lentils&#8230;&#8221; by Freddy Vianellis (Mediterranean Friendship Award)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;iRony&#8221; by Radheya Jegatheva (Silver Palm micro)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Reconstruction of the Occupation&#8221; by Jan Sikl (national premiere, Best Historical Documentary Award).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sunday, 29 January:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;The Poet&#8217;s Wife&#8221; by Helke Misselwitz (Best Socio-Political Documentary Award)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Spirit Native&#8221; by Vicky Markolefa (Special &#8220;Odysseus&#8221; Award)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Village of Women&#8221; by Tamara Stepanyan (national premiere, FIPRECI Award)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;May<sup>1st<\/sup>&#8221; by Luis Cuenca Castro (world premiere, Best Short Documentary Award) .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the detailed screening schedule and the summaries of the films please refer to the official website of the Festival <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beyondborders.gr\">www.beyondborders.gr<\/a>.  <strong>The entrance to the screenings is free<\/strong>.
