From the first moment you pass through the doors of Kassandra, the canal of Nea Potidea, you know that you will be enchanted. Exotic landscapes are revealed in an otherwise Greek destination with a history that goes back thousands of years. This is the natural beauty that the people of Chalkidiki saw when they built their colonies here and who could have imagined that this rock that the goddess Athena “flew” to “close” the giant Enceladus in the bowels of the earth, would be transformed into an oasis for unique summer experiences. It followed its history to the Byzantine towers of Sani and Nea Phocaea, to its ancient temples in Kallithea and Poseidi. He walked along the cobbled streets of Afitos, stopping at the historic church of Agios Dimitrios and the Folklore Museum. He discovered the Sanctuary of St. Paul gushing out of the rock and the Lighthouse of Neptune that once stood beside the wave.<\/p>\n

The sound of the waves “licking” the sand as they gently pass over it. The rustle of pine trees gazing at the sea.
