ITB is one of the most important international meeting points for thousands of professionals in the tourism industry. We declare the present, with an eye to the upcoming season, as well as to the challenges of shaping tourism development opportunities for the whole of Greece.<\/p>\n

We are at this year’s Berlin International Tourism Fair fully aware of the responsibility created by the advantages given to us by the centuries-old cultural heritage, the genuine sense of hospitality of Greeks and the uniqueness of Greek nature. Our country invites travelers to visit it, to become one with the small communities of people and to get to know the hidden secrets of each place.<\/p>\n

This year, however, the invitation also involves a challenge: For travelers to become participants in the shift towards sustainability, as it is launched in the Greek hotel and throughout our country.<\/p>\n

Travelers are the first to act as ambassadors to raise awareness of societies around the world. They can talk about what they saw, about what is happening in every corner of the earth and about the good practices that have been adopted.<\/p>\n

The Greek hotel exudes the feeling of adaptation to the modern requirements of sustainability and balance with the natural environment. Investing in sustainability is our main condition.<\/p>\n

We come as guests at ITB and look forward to seeing you as hosts in Greece.<\/p>\n

Die ITB ist eine der wichtigsten internationalen Treffpunkte f\u00fcr tausende Fachleute der Tourismusbranche. Wir erkl\u00e4ren die Gegenwart, mit Blick auf die kommende Saison, sowie auf die Herausforderungen der Gestaltung der touristischen Entwicklungsm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr ganz Griechenland.<\/p>\n

Auf der diesj\u00e4hrigen Internationalen Tourismusmesse Berlin sind wir uns der Verantwortung bewusst, die uns durch das jahrhundertealte Kulturerbe, die echte Gastfreundschaft der Griechen und die Einzigartigkeit der griechischen Natur gegeben wird. Unser Land l\u00e4dt Reisende ein, es zu besuchen, eins mit den kleinen Gemeinschaften von Menschen zu werden und die verborgenen Geheimnisse jedes Ortes kennen zu lernen.<\/p>\n

Dieses Jahr ist die Einladung aber auch mit einer Herausforderung verbunden: Reisende sollen Teil des Wandels in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit werden, wie er im griechischen Hotel und in ganz Griechenland eingeleitet wird.<\/p>\n

Reisende sind die ersten, die als Botschafter fungieren, um das Bewusstsein der Gesellschaften auf der ganzen Welt zu sch\u00e4rfen. Sie k\u00f6nnen \u00fcber das sprechen, was sie gesehen haben, \u00fcber das, was in jedem Winkel der Welt geschieht, und \u00fcber die bew\u00e4hrten Praktiken, die angenommen wurden.<\/p>\n

Das griechische Hotel strahlt das Gef\u00fchl der Anpassung an die modernen Anforderungen der Nachhaltigkeit und des Gleichgewichts mit der nat\u00fcrlichen Umwelt aus. Investitionen in Nachhaltigkeit sind unsere Hauptbedingung.<\/p>\n
