Tourism is a social phenomenon, with a broad interpretation and many aspects. For Greece, it is our heavy industry, since as a country we are renowned for our sights and natural beauty, as well as for our hospitality.<\/p>\n

The Municipality of Amfiklia – Elateia is an emerging tourist destination, as it offers a variety of activities, quality services and low prices. It is located in Central Greece, just 17 km away from the town. from the famous Parnassos Ski Centre and 2 hours from Athens.<\/p>\n

Our villages are easily accessible by train, bus or car. They have a rich historical and cultural heritage, archaeological sites and monuments, Byzantine chapels and monasteries and wonderful places with picturesque old bridges, waterfalls, gorges and trails for nature lovers.<\/p>\n

One of the most popular attractions is – the only one in Greece – “Bread Museum” in Amfiklia. It is a monographic museum, with bread as the central theme in all the museum’s exhibitions, where visitors can see how bread is made and how it has evolved over the years.<\/p>\n
