<\/b>\u0397 Franman<\/strong>, a leading dealer and supplier of high quality equipment, spare parts, products and services for the marine industry, based in Athens, was appointed exclusive representative for Greece and Cyprus of the Saudi International Maritime Industries (IMI)<\/strong>, the largest full-service shipyard in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.<\/p>\n

Under the terms of the agreement, Franman becomes the sole agent responsible for promoting and attracting potential customers based in Greece and Cyprus, specifically for IMI’s Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services.<\/p>\n

IMI’s fully integrated shipyard spans more than 11 million square meters and serves a wide range of commercial vessels, including VLCCs, Bulk Carriers, Offshore Support Vessels and Offshore Jackup rigs. Recognised as the largest and only shipyard in the MENA region that can support multiple MRO projects and large-scale shipbuilding programmes, including VLCCs, the state-of-the-art infrastructure features state-of-the-art facilities, multiple docks and the largest ship lifting facility in the world, with a lifting capacity of 31,200 tonnes, forming a total environment that enables unparalleled levels of service and efficiency.<\/p>\n
