Mitsis Group, Greece\u2019s largest privately-owned hotel chain, is expanding its presence in Chalkidiki by assuming management of the 4-star beachfront hotel, Alexander the Great, through a management agreement Hotel Investment Partners (HIP<\/strong>), one of the leading owners of resort hotels in Southern Europe, owned by funds managed by Blackstone and GIC. <\/strong>\u00a0The hotel, perched on a lush hillside 80 meters above Kassandra\u2019s finest beach in Kryopigi<\/strong>, adds to Mitsis Group\u2019s growing portfolio. This management contract marks the Group\u2019s sixth<\/strong> such agreement in the past two years, following recent partnerships in Corfu, Crete, Santorini and Chalkidiki.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n The hotel will operate as an all-inclusive resort<\/strong> in 2025. Spread across a coastal area of 34 acres, the hotel features a total capacity of 208 rooms<\/strong>. Its beachfront spans nearly 2 kilometres of natural beauty, with sandy shores and turquoise waters. Among its facilities are two restaurants, three bars, a communal pool, a tennis court, a children\u2019s playground, and a mini market. The hotel is about a one-hour drive from Thessaloniki International Airport ‘Makedonia,’ while Kallithea’s cosmopolitan area is just 1 kilometre away.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The asset will be repositioned into a family-oriented all-inclusive luxury resort.
