\nA Hellenic Chamber of Hotels Initiative Celebrating 90 Years of Operation<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The year 2025 marks a historic milestone in the remarkable journey of evolution and progress undertaken by the hotel industry in Greece. It is the year that celebrates 90 years since the founding and operation of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), serving as the institutional advisor to the Hellenic State on tourism matters.<\/p>\n

To commemorate this significant anniversary, the HCH President, Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos, announced today during a press luncheon at a central Athens hotel, the launch of the initiative “Hospitality with Value for All.” This year-long initiative aims to highlight the pivotal role of Greek hospitality in the economic, social, and cultural advancement of the country.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The “Hospitality with Value for All” initiative is structured around four thematic pillars:
\nI. The contribution of hospitality to development and social cohesion.
\nII. The promotion of inclusive principles and values that embody an open society, as represented by hospitality.
\nIII. The focus on sustainability, a major challenge of our time.
\nIV. Supporting employment, as the largest employer in the private sector.<\/p>\n

Central Actions of the Initiative<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Conferences and Workshops:<\/strong> Two conferences and two workshops will be organized across different regions of Greece, focusing on the initiative’s four thematic pillars.<\/li>\n
  2. Television Campaign:<\/strong> A television spot highlighting the value of hospitality will be produced and broadcast as a public service message.<\/li>\n
  3. Commemorative Album:<\/strong> An album featuring contributions from state and political leaders, reflecting on the value of hospitality, with illustrations selected through a competition.<\/li>\n
  4. Communication Campaign:<\/strong> Social media platforms, a dedicated mini-site within the HCH website, and informational brochures addressing each of the four thematic pillars will support the initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In his statement, HCH President Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos emphasized:<\/h5>\n

    “We honor 90 years of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels with an initiative that bridges our history with the brighter future we envision. It is our responsibility to lay the foundations today for the next 90 years. To rise to the challenge of shaping a new Greece for the next century, we must preserve our virtues and set aside our weaknesses.<\/p>\n

    We have achieved much as a country and as a people. That is why it is crucial to focus on where we have proven success, where hard work, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit shine, and where our nation leads and excels. That is hospitality.
