The future of the Greek Tourism looks very promising. Bed-nights and income rise every year.
\nIt is important that tourists visit Greece in the period that is considered off season. The visitors enjoy the mild climate and the services. Most of the days they can walk around at their leisure and enjoy their meals in the open.
\nDestinations in mainland are promoted. Peloponnese that is full of interesting sights, is easily accessible by car from Athens is becoming very interesting. New resorts with five star hotels golf courses and marinas are already enjoying very high occupancies.<\/p>\n

Athens has already become a twelve month destination. Weekend tourism has been successfully promoted.
\nThe major project for 400 million Euros is the development of the Athens waterfront.
\nFew visitors are aware that Athens end at a seafront. The park which will extend for more than two thousand meters by the sea will offer to the visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy the bay of Athens by the sea, even to go sailing all year round.\u00a0 An area which will project the maritime history of Greece through the ages and a museum.
\nNext to this there will be the Conference Venue with all the international specifications to host the needs of major Congresses \u2013 Conferences & Events.<\/p>\n

Neue Resorts mit F\u00fcnf-Sterne-Hotels, Golfpl\u00e4tzen und Yachth\u00e4fen erfreuen sich bereits einer sehr hohen Auslastung.<\/p>\n

Athen ist bereits zu einem zw\u00f6lfmonatigen Reiseziel geworden. Der Wochenendtourismus wurde erfolgreich gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n

Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Projekt f\u00fcr 400 Millionen Euro ist die Entwicklung des Athener Hafenviertels.<\/p>\n

Nur wenige Besucher wissen, dass Athen an einer Strandpromenade endet. Der Park, der sich \u00fcber zweitausend Meter am Meer erstrecken wird, wird den Besuchern eine einzigartige Gelegenheit bieten, die Bucht von Athen am Meer zu genie\u00dfen und sogar das ganze Jahr \u00fcber zu segeln.\u00a0 Ein Bereich, der die maritime Geschichte Griechenlands im Laufe der Jahrhunderte darstellen wird, sowie ein Museum.<\/p>\n

Daneben wird es ein Konferenzzentrum mit allen internationalen Spezifikationen geben, um die Bed\u00fcrfnisse gro\u00dfer Kongresse, Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen zu erf\u00fcllen.<\/p>\n
