The new route to Charlotte (CLT) becomes the fourth route for Athens (ATH) for the summer season<\/em><\/h3>\n

American Airlines is continuing its European growth, adding another route to its Greek network with the introduction of a seasonal service between Athens (ATH)<\/strong> and Charlotte (CLT).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Operating on a Boeing 777-200, the addition of CLT to the Greek network brings the total number of flights for ATH to four daily flights the highest it has ever been. American also flies between ATH and Chicago (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL) and New York (JFK).<\/p>\n

As the airline continues to grow its international service throughout summer, American is adding new routes in Europe, including additional service from Madrid (MAD); Milan (MXP); Rome (FCO) and Venice, Italy (VCE). Launched in 2024, American will also bring back flights to Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH); Naples, Italy (NAP); and Nice, France (NCE) for the 2025 summer travel season, with NAP also now connecting to Chicago (ORD).<\/p>\n
