The table next to you is loaded with chocolates and Christmas cookies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But there comes a time when you find the strength to push those chocolates away, get off that couch and walk those chocolates down to the garbage bin and keep on walking for another 30 minutes. There, it is as easy as that. You have started your exercise routine!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resolutions targeted on change often fail because they were probably made during a moment of enthusiasm but they aren&#8217;t specific enough. For example when you say to yourself \u201cI want to exercise, quit smoking, eat healthy\u201d you are being vague, you may have the desire but not the means to implement your goals. If you however say: \u201cI will walk 2 times a week starting today or include a salad with my lunch 5 times a week\u201d your goals are clear, you have the intention along with the plan to materialize them. Your resolutions stand a better chance when you make them specific, when you make them measurable, achievable and most importantly when you make them relevant and timely to who you want to be. In other words they are smart goals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here is an example: Instead of saying, &#8220;I want to be fitter,&#8221; set a goal: Starting January 10th (birthday, graduation, anniversary,\u2026) I will walk\/run 3 times\/week (Achievable), using an application on my phone I will track my progress (Measurable), and after a couple of months of training I will run\/walk the 5K at the Athens Marathon (Time-bound). I will commit to this routine because I want to feel fit, healthy, and strong (Relevant to who you want to be).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><em>\u201cGoals are good for setting a direction, but systems are best for making progress\u201d James Clear<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following, I am listing 22 Resolutions directly or indirectly targeted for your wellness, this is an opportunity to adopt the ones that suit you most and transform them to your smart goals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1. Increase your fitness level.<\/p>\n<p>2.Improve your eating habits.<\/p>\n<p>3. Cater to your mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>4. Practice breathing and stress release exercise<\/p>\n<p>5. Find ways to earn and at the same time save money.<\/p>\n<p>6. Diclutter<\/p>\n<p>7. Meditate<\/p>\n<p>8. Improve the quality of your sleep &#8220;Happiness consists of getting enough sleep.
