It is with great pleasure that Athens’ favourite hotel, St. George Lycabettus, which this year celebrates 50 years of operation, opened its doors for the summer at the fully renovated Vertigo Pool & Sunset bar on the hotel’s rooftop!

In the renewed space of Vertigo, with the unique view of the Acropolis and the lush green Lycabettus, you will find the ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation, enjoying the most impressive sunsets of Athens that can only take your breath away.

The renovation project was carried out by the hotel’s in-house architectural team, under the guidance of Maria Papatriandafyllou, who successfully completed the project, transforming the space into an oasis of coolness, relaxation and elegance in the heart of the city.

The decoration was curated by the well-known interior designer, Carlos Mota from New York, who illuminated the space by choosing yellow as the basic colour, which is also the colour of the sun. With modern design, elegant and comfortable furniture but at the same time beautifully designed and spacious spaces, decorated with local plants and flowers, a peaceful and green environment has been created, which is just what you need to escape from the fast pace of Athens and relax.

The new Vertigo Pool & Sunset Bar offers a wide variety in its menu, from its exquisite refreshing cocktails and aperitifs to finger food bites and summery aromatic flavours created by executive chef, Stefanos Papanikolaou.

The Vertigo Pool & Sunset Bar opens its doors daily from 10 am until evening, offering beautiful moments of tranquility, as it is undoubtedly an escape from the routine of everyday life to each of its guests.
