Here in the winter wonderland

Here in the winter wonderland

… where sounds, scents, images, and flavors metamorphose into a unique journey that passes through every corner of Greece, seeking

the snow on the white-covered mountains of Pindos,

the laughter echoing on cobblestone paths,

the games in the crystal nature of winter,

the embrace of fairies living in the gurgling waters of rivers, as they flow through enchanting landscapes,

the flame quietly burning in the fireplace, and beside it, the warmth peacefully sleeping,

and above all, the festive spirit of winter itself, which “decorates” our lives with ribbons and dazzling lanterns, gives meaning to our cold nights, and “nests” in the love that warms our hearts.

It does not bother me if outside
winter spreads fog, clouds and cold.
Spring is within me, true joy.
Laughter is a sun ray, all pure gold,
there is no other garden than love,
the warmth of song melts all the snows”

“Good and bad weather” C.P. Cavafis
