Such long… mini holidays we don’t remember seeing before.
That is: Good Friday , 26 April , public holiday. Holy Saturday, public holiday. Easter Sunday, public holiday. Easter Monday, public holiday. Wednesday, May Day, public holiday.

Here is the Mini holiday. Essentially a week’s holiday and as usually behind the big events there are some big sponsors, in our case of a week’s rest, the sponsors for the mini holidays are Pascha and May Day.

In addition to rest, the mini holidays will provide the opportunity for time-rich travel and acquaintance. Residents of the big cities will have the opportunity to get to know various destinations during the five days, but rural residents who come to Athens for Easter – May Day will have the opportunity to visit museums, special hotels in the historical centre, multi-ethnic cuisines, parks, etc.
