The Paros-Antiparos Hotel Association co-organizes with important Paros institutions a two-day conference on the Transition to a Different Development Model in Paros and the Cyclades

 

The Paros-Antiparos Hotel Association announces the co-organization of an important event together with the Archilochos Cultural Association, DEYAP,

the Federation of Parian Associations and the Friends of Paros-Antiparos, of the Biennial Conference on Transition Strategies

to a different development model for Paros and the Cyclades,

which will take place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April 2024.

 

 

The event will take place at the Paros School of Education in the area of Parikia, under the auspices of the Municipality of Paros, in close cooperation with the aforementioned institutions, in order to explore and elaborate proposals for the strategies that not only Paros, but also other islands of the Cyclades should adopt.

The participants will have the opportunity to discuss the implementation of a more methodical development path, based on respect for the elements of the special character of the islands. It will analyse the challenges and opportunities that arise on the path towards sustainable development and propose strategies that should be adopted to achieve it.

We invite all stakeholders to participate in this important event, as everyone’s input and dialogue is vital for the creation of a common future tourism development plan for the Cyclades.
