Theofilos Halkiadakis S.A. was founded in 1980 by the late Theofilos Halkiadakis as a tourist hospitality unit having in its possession just 27 rooms. The idea, goals and vision became the driving force for its development and evolution as today the company consists of a family of accommodation under the distinctive title Cactus Hotels with a capacity of 740 rooms of different categories.

Cactus Hotels operates in the area of Stalis, in the municipality of Hersonissos, in a seaside area of natural beauty. The corporate social responsibility of the company is based on maintaining sustainability.

The acquisition of a series of awards and certifications of an environmental nature is also proof of Cactus Hotels’ environmental commitment (ISO 14001, Travelife, Green Key, TUI Umwelt, Environmental Award 2018, Waste &
Recycling Award 2017, Best Greek Sustainable Hotel 2017, Bravo Sustainability Awards 2018, Greek Hospitality Award 2018 ).
