Spring is coming, bringing warmth and flowers. And while sunny days timidly take the baton from the gloomy winter, the increasing UV rays threaten the skin with burns, spots, and wrinkles. How will we properly prepare our skin so we can enjoy outings without risks? With proper preparation 2–4 weeks in advance, we strengthen the skin’s natural defenses for a healthy, radiant result.

Cleansing and Hydration: The Basis of Defense

Start with gentle cleansing morning and evening. Avoid soaps that dry out while preferring cleansers with hyaluronic acid. Then apply a moisturizing cream rich in antioxidants (vitamin C, niacinamide). These correct the small damages of winter, strengthen the barrier, and improve the skin’s resistance to destructive UV rays by 25%.

Tip: Your dermatologist will inform you about your skin type and needs and suggest the most suitable “skin care” routine for you.

Remove Dead Cells

Use a mild scrub or serum with salicylic acid or products with AHAs (e.g., glycolic 5–8%) 1–2 times a week. They exfoliate, smooth, and improve sunscreen absorption. They are ideal after winter dehydration.

ATTENTION: Don’t overdo it, especially on sensitive skin, as they can cause irritations.

Tip: Do peel at night – give the skin at least 24 hours to calm down before exposing it to the sun.

Sunscreen: The Non-Negotiable Hero

Prefer broad-spectrum sunscreens SPF 50 with gel texture for oily skin or cream for dry. Apply 1/4 teaspoon on the face, 30 minutes before going out, and repeat every 2 hours. Apply generously and reapply after sweat or swimming. Combine with hat and glasses.

Your dermatologist will suggest the ideal sunscreen for your skin type and color (phototype).

Tip: Carry travel-size sunscreen in your bag – ideal for sudden outings.

Extra Tips for Radiant Skin

Eat fruits rich in antioxidants (e.g., strawberries, oranges), lycopene (tomatoes), and omega-3 (fish), while drinking about 2 liters of water daily. Avoid smoking and limit alcohol.

If you have skin issues (acne, eczema), consult your dermatologist for personalized protection and care instructions. Avoid heavy makeup that prevents the skin from breathing.

Tip: Drink green tea daily. It is rich in polyphenols and enhances skin defense against UV rays.

With these steps, your skin will be ready to shine naturally. Spring is here – protect yourself and enjoy!
