A second 10-year anniversary is dawning for the Tourism Awards and Greek hospitality. In this 11th edition of the awards, the sections have been updated with new ones, such as. Hospitality Supporting Services & Supporting Hospitality Support Services and Technological Solutions and Brand Greece, while many new categories were added, such as: Theme Parks, Historic Building Restoration, Development & Development and Mental Health of Staff, Gastronomy, Wine Tourism, etc.

All nominations will be evaluated by the Jury which is composed of academics, experts, journalists and tourism entrepreneurs. Varvara Avdi is the new President of the Commission, Partner & Board Vice Chairman Historic Hotels of Europe, Founder, Yades Greek Historic Hotels, who says: “Tourism concerns and affects us all, the shift to sustainability (Environment, Local Society and Economy) is imperative for Greece with so many local particularities, while the Greekness of our new tourism product is what differentiates us, gives us uniqueness and universality and, therefore, we must both preserve and promote it. We look forward to receiving and showcasing this year’s best practices in Greek tourism.”
The independent Tourism Awards Jury will also evaluate the nominations for the Villa Awards, which will highlight the top villas in Greece for 2024.
