6th Castellorizo International Documentary Festival

Since 2016, the Hellenic Foundation for Historical Studies has established the “Beyond Borders” International History Documentary Festival of Castellorizo. This Festival takes place during the last week of August in Castellorizo and this year it is under the auspices of the A.E. of the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou. About 15 Greek and 15 foreign documentary films qualify to compete in the Festival, while the awards are presented every year by the Hellenic Parliament.
The 6th “Beyond Borders” Festival (22-29/08/2021) will host, among others, Ecrans des Mondes, the National History Museum, the Parliament Channel, a photography and sculpture exhibition, concerts, musical tributes, children’s and theatrical performances and other cultural events for young and old.
