With the completion of an excellent summer season on the Athenian Riviera, the famous Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens now ranks 35th among the 50 Best Hotels in the World, as announced at the first presentation of the list of “The 50 Best Hotels in the World”, held at the iconic Guildhall in London, on September 19, 2023.

This list is the first foray of the 50 Best in the world of travel tourism and the first new global ranking since the launch of the “World’s 50 Best Bars” awards in 2009. The list includes top hotels from 35 locations on six continents. It is worth noting that the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is the only hotel in Greece, which is included in the list.

This distinction for the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, located just 30 minutes from the historic centre of the Greek capital, is the latest in a series of accolades it has won since the iconic seaside retreat reopened in 2019.

The high ranking in the “World’s 50 Best Hotels” list is the culmination of an excellent year for the 303-room hotel, which also received the first Forbes Five-Star distinction in 2023 and was named “Best Hotel in Athens City” in Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best” awards in 2023.
