At the same time, he confirmed the support of the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organisation in promoting the exhibition and other similar initiatives that enhance the travelers’ experience.
The Minister of Tourism informed that the Ministry of Tourism has initiated the process for the concession of a building belonging to the Regional Tourism Service for the expansion of the operations of the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, thus contributing to the Museum’s redevelopment project.
Mrs Kefalogianni stressed that initiatives such as “Ekatobolis” contribute to the promotion of Greece as a destination for 12-month tourism, but also highlight Crete as a destination of global appeal, a place where natural beauty, hospitality and culture come together in a unique way.
