Important distinctions in the prestigious institution of
Condé Nast Traveler Readers‘ Choice Awards, the hotel industry has won the CondéNast Traveler Readers‘ Choice Awards. Sani/IkosGroup, with Sani Resort being named Top Resort in Europe and a total of three of its resorts in Greece and Spain being voted the best in Europe by the readers of the prestigious travel magazine.
Thousands of travellers from around the world took part in the voting conducted by the magazine for the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, highlighting their favourite destinations, resorts, cruises and airlines, among others. Condé Nast Traveler created a separate category for Greece (“Top Resorts in Greece”), with the rest of Europe represented in another category – indicative of the importance of Greek hospitality on the global tourism map – where Sani Resort topped the list.
The Sani/Ikos Group’s luxury seaside resort, set in a 4,000-acre natural reserve in Kassandra, Halkidiki, is a timeless benchmark for luxury tourism in the Mediterranean, having won numerous international certifications and awards for its high-quality hospitality and sustainable practices. Second place in the same list, according to Condé Nast Traveler readers, went to Ikos Dassia, the first of the two luxury resorts operated by the Sani/Ikos Group on the island of Corfu. Fourth on the list of the best European resorts, in the category for the rest of Europe, was Ikos Porto Petro, the Group’s new resort in Mallorca, Spain.
