The Right Podcast

What is the The Right Podcast ;

The Right Podcast is an outlet for dialogue and interaction. We want to give everyone the opportunity to be heard, to strongly support their positions and opinions, to gain the ability to listen and understand the opposing view – and sometimes even to defend it, in the context of a tournament, acquiring the ability of double-speak.

In our time, democracy is becoming increasingly participatory. Online platforms, social media, think tanks, volunteer and collective awakening movements, forums and civic organisations are developing rapidly, giving a new dimension to citizenship. In this context, it is more necessary than ever that each and every one of us can develop logical and structured thinking, engage in fruitful debate in an honest exchange of views, respect the opposing viewpoint and understand the other person’s point of view, whoever it may be.

The Right Podcast is not a political organization.

‘ Promotes rhetoric through the organisation of debates, giving young people aged 18-25 the opportunity to practice public speaking and believe in themselves ‘

– become part of this new State, which requires the active participation of citizens at all levels of governance and consultation. The debates are conducted online on our Youtube channel which is the largest rhetoric channel in Greece with more than 1,600 followers and thousands of views in every debate we organize with students from all over the world. Our official guests are prestigious personalities, from Oxford professors to professors of the Hellenic and Cypriot Universities, as well as professionals from various industries such as successful financiers and technology professionals. We are now a community that invests in the highest quality in the knowledge and dialogue that surrounds it.

What is a debate?

Debate means a counterargument – that is, an exchange of arguments. It is a structured debate in which one speaker attempts to convince the other of the correctness of his or her position, based on logical arguments, evidence, examples and rhetorical techniques, without insulting the opponent or making personal attacks or accusations.

The Right Podcast is not just for law students or lawyers.

‘ Its purpose is precisely to show that developing an argument in a clear and complete way, public debate and ideological dialogue is not just for politicians and communicators.

Contrary to the prevailing perception, we refuse to accept that a debate, or in Greek antilogue, is what we watch on the TV screens. A society does not progress with parallel monologues, nor with citizens who lack the courage of their convictions.
