WHO MAKES THE STATEMENT IN GOV.GR;

Travel, by road, sea or air, for leisure or work, is often necessary even in pandemic conditions.

A prerequisite, however, is the safety of travellers, in accordance with the instructions of the experts and the public transport authorities. Passengers are required either to be fully vaccinated (it would be good to have the third dose) or to have the appropriate diagnostic tests recommended by infectious disease specialists and the state.

For all the above actions to be valid, passengers must submit the necessary declarations to EODY in good time and show the official certificates of the GOV.GR application, either in paper form or electronically, to the control.

Everything must be reported to the EODY, either the vaccination or the diagnostic test. The declaration of vaccination is made by the vaccination centre and the declaration of PCR and Rapid test by the diagnostic centres.

Diagnostic laboratories – centres are obliged to declare the result, each time a check for Covid19 is carried out, so that the passenger can issue the corresponding certificate, which in the top right corner, there is a QR code (square mark) which is scanned by the special application (Covid free App) carried by the officials carrying out the check at departure.

Many diagnostic laboratories also have a corresponding QR Code in the top right-hand corner of the answer they give. This QR code when scanned, with a simple mobile app available, proves the authenticity of the result by displaying the test taker’s details and the test result.

ATTENTION!! The QR Code of the laboratory result cannot be scanned by the special application that employees have in the bus, ship and airplane.

On all public transport, only the QR code issued by GOV.GR is valid and allows the passenger to travel.
