The Role of Emotions in Nutrition

Nutrition in relation to our emotions plays a crucial role in our daily lives. When it comes to eating, most of the time we are driven by emotion rather than need per se. In the evening it is common to eat large quantities of food. This behaviour is directly related to the existence of internal pressure which is released when we relax and often the medium of expression is food itself. By achieving balance in eating behaviour there are benefits to both health and psychology.
