Do you have vaginal fluids like cut milk? Yellow? Greenish? Pusillanimous? Pain on intercourse or urination? Then you have vaginitis!
That is a disorder of the normal flora of the vagina.

Reduced body defense, stress, stress, eating too many sugars, not using a condom, frequent change of sexual partners is the main cause of inflammation of the vagina, development of various microbes.

What should I do?

You will need to be examined by a gynaecologist and have a vaginal fluid sample taken for examination and culture for germs and fungi. The most common infection of the vagina is anaerobic infection which afflicts many women because it recurs very often throughout a woman’s life from teenage to old age! It is characterized by yellowish-green fluids, often smelly and itchy. It is often confused with mycosis, (which has white, non-smelly fluids) because of similar symptoms.

How can I avoid vaginitis?

Very important is the way of cleaning the sensitive area. We should use products that maintain the balance of the normal flora of the vagina. We should wash in the direction from the vagina to the anus, not the other way around to avoid transferring germs from the anus to the vagina. The cleaning of the area continues in the days of the season. The use of tampons is not recommended. It is preferable not to use liquid soap but solid soap and not betadine or other antiseptic liquids. We prefer cotton underwear that allows the skin to breathe better and for the same reason we try not to wear tight pants. We must always use a condom during sexual intercourse. We never use other people’s underwear and towels. We try to strengthen our body’s defences through proper nutrition. We try not to eat sugar and sweets too often. We add more yoghurts and probiotic products to our diet.
