We are honored that the Director of the Gynecology and Robotics Department of the Athens Euroclinic, Ms. Vasiliki Hatzirafael, organized the ^15th Congress of the European Society for Robotic Gynecological Surgery (SERGS), which took place at the Eugenidou Foundation (Planetarium), in Athens, from 8-10 June 2023.

It was very well attended by academic speakers, leading European experts in the field of robotic gynecological surgery, as well as physicians, students and nurses from 33 countries from all over Europe and abroad.

The conference started with the greeting of the Attica Regional Governor, Mr. Georgios Patoulis, who showed his enthusiasm for the excellent organization and the rich scientific program.

The scientific programme included interactive round table discussions and updates on the latest developments in all benign and malignant gynaecological diseases.

During the conference, many robotic gynecological procedures were presented, medical innovations and new techniques were discussed.

All robotic systems and their developments were presented. Finally, new developments in the field of robotic surgery were discussed with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and real-time augmented reality software. In parallel with the conference, a robotic surgery seminar was held with certification exams for 34 new robotic surgeons. At the end of the conference, prizes were awarded for the best oral presentation and the best video presentation.

The foreign delegates left our country with the best impressions of the organization of the conference and the training it offered to all levels of gynecologists-surgeons.
